A.K.A. This Guy -->
Various practices with reproductions of the self and iconography. Image is only aesthetic documentation of a social project.
I have met people who have owned stickers of me before I met them for the first time, and I have had strangers approach me because they recognized me from stickers. I give these out for free, and carry them in my wallet daily. If someone compliments my outfit, I give them a sticker of me wearing it as a thank you. The goal of this has been to create an enviornment for myself where sometimes strangers will interract with me on the basis of these little gifts and jokes. These interactions make both of us happy to have, and are easier for me than approaching someone myself, and not knowing them, or if I have anything to offer them if I cannot be charismatic. “The red one” is something possible to know about me without us ever having interracted. Red has been through many meanings and variations, but this is this is the first form where I’m using it to not-be-forgotten (visually) while also pushing a side of it with social interraction. In this itteration I have not found myself becoming 2D or non-solid as a person, which I have found happen before, when only focusing on it visually.
